Job Description

UK Power Networks is looking for a Cyber Security OT Engineer to join its Information Systems team in Ipswich.

Reporting to the Cyber Security OT Engineering Manager, you will play an important role in protecting Operational Technology infrastructure from cyber threats. The role involves working with a broad range of technologies, including firewalls, SIEM platforms, privileged access management systems, endpoint protection tools, intrusion detection systems, Cisco ISE, and SCADA-related environments.

You will work closely with internal teams, external service providers, and specialist partners to strengthen cyber resilience across critical operational systems. The position provides exposure to cyber security implementation, monitoring, incident response, resilience testing, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
