You will join the Rad Oncology team at the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion. The role is onsite. There is no hybrid or remote option.

• Provide direct patient care under the delegation or supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.

Medical Assistant duties

• Direct care includes, but is not limited to, gathering vital signs, collecting specimens, communicating changes in patient condition, and general patient care.
• Help keep the care area stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies.
• Carry out administrative or clerical duties as assigned. These include filing, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Minimum requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I).
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. You must have a card in-hand before your start date. The BLS or CPR card must be valid through 60 days of hire.

No certification? UCHealth will still hire you into a Medical Assistant title without an MA registration or certification. You just need one of these:

• 3 years of Medical Assistant experience, or
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
