About the role

Due to a large influx of work, our client is looking for an experienced Engineering Surveyor in the Gloucestershire area.

You will run high-precision engineering and land surveys across many projects. Your job is to make sure accurate data is collected and reported to clients.

This role is site-based. The work pattern is Monday to Friday day shifts. Occasional weekends will be needed when required.

Responsibilities and duties

• Carry out topographical, engineering, and monitoring surveys on a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.
• Use advanced survey equipment to capture accurate data. This includes Total Stations, GPS/GNSS systems, and 3D laser scanners.
• Process and analyse survey data using industry-standard software. Generate plans, models, and reports from the data.
• Work with project managers and engineers to make sure survey data meets project needs.
• Work on-site and travel to different project locations as required.

Experience and qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience as an Engineering Surveyor in the surveying industry.
• PTS and CSCS accreditations.
• A full UK driving licence and the full right to work in the UK.
• Proficient with survey equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser scanning.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Trimble Business Centre.
• An excellent understanding of survey principles and data analysis.

Ideal background

• A background in Land Surveying, Civils, Setting Out, or as a Site Engineer.
