You will provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the Inpatient Rehab Unit at UCHealth Broomfield Hospital. The role is PRN, so you will be called to work shifts based on the unit’s needs.

Physical Therapist duties

  • Assess and diagnose: conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans: create individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals, using a variety of therapeutic techniques. Make a tangible difference for every patient.
  • Educate and instruct patients: provide thorough education to patients and their families. Empower them in their recovery and promote long-term wellbeing.

Minimum requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (required).
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (preferred).

Licensure

  • Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Required certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider, through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. You must have a card in-hand before your start date. The BLS or CPR card must be valid through 60 days of hire.
