UK Power Networks is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the Lower Thames Crossing programme. This is one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.

You will lead commercial delivery from procurement through to final account. It is a high-impact role where your commercial decisions shape a nationally important scheme.

What you will be doing

• Own commercial management across NEC contracts, frameworks, and manufacturing orders.
• Lead payment processes, CE/EWN assessments, programme reviews, and CVR reporting.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and contractors to keep projects moving.
• Support procurement, contract drafting, and commercial governance.
• Drive robust change control, risk management, and dispute resolution.

What you will bring

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, or Project Management.
• Strong commercial and contractual expertise (NEC experience is ideal).
• The ability to analyse cost data, challenge decisions, and influence project teams.
• Solid knowledge of construction contracts and contractor performance.
