You will lead carrier strategy, freight auditing, and capacity forecasting across our European network. You need at least 3 years’ experience in international logistics.
Core responsibilities
The Outbound Logistics Lead plays a lead role for lululemon’s internal and external cross-functional partners. You will set our guests, partners, and stores up for success by efficiently managing shipments and parcels throughout our European network. This includes meeting service and cost requirements.
Working alongside the Outbound team, you will:
- Facilitate the movement of domestic, cross-border, and international shipments. This includes shipments between our Distribution Centres and our partners, stores, and guests — as well as returns from our guests to our Distribution Centres.
- Work with our retail and digital ops teams, and our e-commerce Guest Experience Centre (GEC). Actively communicate delivery disruptions and share delivery performance metrics.
- Together with your stakeholders and peers, identify performance gaps and prepare improvement recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Set up, maintain, and continuously improve our tracking tools. Make sure cross-functional teams and guests have visibility of parcels in transit and are informed promptly on possible delays.
- Work directly with transportation vendors (such as E-Shop World, UPS, Royal Mail, DHL) to make sure deliveries reach our guests on time and efficiently.
- Partner with our global technology teams (such as Narvar, nShift). Take part in the further development of systems and tools used to optimise and improve our guests’ returns and delivery experience.
- Continuously monitor and improve our use of nShift capabilities. Maintain the shipping rules to enhance the guest experience.
- Investigate shortages and damages, submit claims, follow up with carriers, and monitor receipt of refunds.
- Lead freight invoice auditing. This includes maintaining general ledger department codes, amending and creating compliance rules, preparing and monitoring performance metrics, analysing carrier invoices, and investigating exceptions.
- In partnership with our London-based finance team, own and analyse rates and service options from carriers to best support our business requirements.
- Lead various forecasting and capacity analysis. The objective is to efficiently streamline the outbound shipping process.

- Experience of working with external transportation partners is preferred.
- A clear understanding of procedures and documentation requirements, such as customs docs for non-EU countries, is preferred.
- Strong accuracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good understanding of import and export regulations.
- Strong organisational and responsive problem-solving skills.
