We are looking for a Data Analyst / WMS Specialist to join a fast-paced logistics and warehousing operation that supports a leading global landing gear manufacturing business.
This is a key role that combines operational data analysis, continuous improvement activities, and support for major systems projects.
You will play an important part in analysing warehouse and inventory data. You will also identify operational improvement opportunities. As part of your role, you will help prepare for the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS). The WMS rollout is part of a wider business systems transformation programme scheduled for 2027.

Key responsibilities
Data analysis and reporting
- Develop, maintain, and improve operational reports and dashboards.
- Extract, analyse, and interpret large datasets from warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Carry out data mining and trend analysis to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to support operational decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs relating to inventory accuracy, productivity, service levels, and warehouse performance.
- Support root-cause investigations through detailed data analysis.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for operational and senior management teams.
Continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
- Support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the operation.
- Take part in process mapping, waste reduction, and workflow optimisation projects.
- Measure and report on improvement project outcomes.
- Support the implementation of best practices across warehousing and supply chain operations.
WMS and systems development
- Act as a key site resource for Warehouse Management System development and enhancement.
- Support preparation activities for a planned business systems upgrade and WMS implementation programme.
- Assist with requirements gathering, process design, testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support system configuration reviews and operational readiness activities.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Work closely with operational teams, project stakeholders, and IT teams throughout implementation activities.
- Help with change management and end-user adoption of new systems and processes.
Skills and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience creating reports, analysing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- The ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
