This permanent role supports the daily running of packing lines at Watts Farms in Farningham, Kent. The successful candidate will lead production staff, keep work moving smoothly, maintain strong food safety standards, and help ensure customer orders are packed correctly and on time.

Due to the rural location of the site, having your own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities

The Fresh Produce Production Supervisor will support the production team by managing daily packing line activities and helping staff work safely and efficiently.

Main duties include:

  • Supervising packing line operations and production staff
  • Making sure health and safety standards are followed
  • Maintaining food safety standards across the production area
  • Supporting machine set-up during production
  • Assisting with product changeovers
  • Helping with basic machine troubleshooting
  • Monitoring production efficiency
  • Checking product quality during packing
  • Completing production records accurately
  • Working closely with the wider production management team
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping

Watts Farms is looking for a reliable and practical person who can stay calm in a fast-paced production setting. The right candidate should be confident leading a team and should understand the importance of quality, food safety, and good organisation.

Working Hours

The working schedule for this role is:

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • 48 hours per week
  • Flexibility required between 7:00am and 6:00pm, depending on production needs
