Summary

You will lead organisational redesign initiatives. You will also lead and teach cross-functional Lean Six Sigma approaches to problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple facility and cross-organisational teams. Help them achieve their strategic objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Lead and coach the leaders of system-wide, service line, and cross-functional events.
  • Coordinate services with other departments and service lines.
  • Mentor Green Belts on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Process Improvement Consultants, in coordination with Leadership.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma waste and error reduction techniques to organisational operations.
  • Make sure all work follows PI standards and the principles of Lean.
  • Lead cross-functional teams that include physicians, clinicians, and administrative staff.
  • Plan and develop key projects, and make sure they reach completion.
  • Develop projects that streamline and improve organisational processes.
  • Deliver presentations and reports to project teams and executive sponsors.
  • Help the organisation reach measurable outcomes in quality, safety, financial, operational, and patient experience targets.

The work requires critical thinking, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • At least 3 years of related experience. This must include project management and facilitation, plus experience leading complex, cross-organisational improvement initiatives.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
