The company is currently recruiting qualified professionals for the position outlined below.
Job Summary
The Technical Professional will provide end-to-end technical, data management, and application support across subsurface, wells, and exploration activities. The role supports venture development processes, hydrocarbon forecasting, enterprise data and document management, and workflow optimization initiatives within upstream operations.
Roles and Responsibilities

Provide support for Venture Development Management (VDM) processes, Hydrocarbon Forecasting and Result Workbench (HFRW), and ARPR activities across development, exploration, and wells.

Implement, support, and enhance HFRW, PERT, and AIMS applications, including advanced data analytics, predictive analysis, automated decline curve analysis, and venture development workflow improvements.

Deliver assigned business improvement and process optimization projects.

Gather wells, geology, geophysics, and geolab data, and load validated datasets into approved local and corporate databases, including CDS, RECALL, EDM, and PETROBANK MDS, ensuring data accuracy and seamless retrieval.

Support data quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the resolution of subsurface data quality issues, including compliance with Emergency Response Organization Portal data requirements.

Provide onsite Technical Data Management (TDM) support for geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and reservoir engineering data.

Deliver, embed, and support document and records management services, ensuring document quality across SIRUS, File Plan systems, and SharePoint workspaces.

Support all data and document management activities in collaboration with subsurface and wells teams, ensuring industry-standard data formats and compliance with corporate data management policies (EP 16).

Execute basic technical data analysis supporting upstream technical disciplines, including subsurface (geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering, production technology, and geophysics), wells engineering, and production engineering.

Manage corporate and project datasets, including the retrieval and upload of raw and interpreted geophysical, geological, seismic, wells, reservoir, and production data into corporate data stores.

Retrieve, organize, and publish key business documents within enterprise document repositories.

Provide high-quality workflow and application support to Exploration and Geophysics user communities on deepwater projects.

Support workflow improvement initiatives, trainings and webinars, application performance monitoring, and business interface management involving subsurface disciplines and IT service providers.

Deliver specialist advisory support and formal or informal introductory training on Petrel, EDM, and other Subsurface and Wells (SSW) applications.

Provide first-line and second-line support for geomatics, wells engineering, geology, and geological applications.

Manage deployment and support of technical computing infrastructure, including servers, client workstations, storage devices, and plotters/printers, as well as installation and management of essential third-party software.

Provide Subsurface and Wells (SSW) helpdesk support services.

Support facilities and infrastructure services, including Virtual Reality Centres.
Academic Qualification
-
B.Sc. or HND in Surveying, Remote Sensing, Geophysics, Cartography, GIS, Geography, or a related discipline.
Experience
-
Minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience for B.Sc. holders or six (6) years for HND holders.

At least three (3) years of experience must be in seismic or geophysical data administration.
