Job Summary

The Senior Account Manager – Top Accounts will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships with Glovo’s largest accounts in Nigeria. This role requires a strong combination of data-driven business analysis and relationship management expertise to support long-term growth and profitability for both Glovo and its partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full ownership and maintain a 360-degree view of the commercial performance between Glovo and its top partners in Nigeria.

  • Understand partners’ objectives and challenges in order to provide strategic guidance and operational support.

  • Leverage data and analytics to drive sustainable growth and improve profitability for both partners and Glovo.

  • Define and execute long-term country strategies covering growth, promotions, advertising, and operational performance.

  • Increase Glovo’s revenue through commission renegotiations and effective monetization of commercial assets.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Operations, Marketing, Corporate, and Customer Service, to design and implement customized partner solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key partners, converting them into preferred partners.


Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Account Management or core Business Development. Experience in startups, top consulting firms, or leading technology companies is an advantage.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with additional data analysis tools is beneficial.

  • Strong persuasive and commercial skills, with the ability to sell value-driven solutions to partners and customers.

  • Proven ability to solve complex, multi-disciplinary challenges using analytical and critical-thinking approaches.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage both strategic priorities and operational details while meeting deadlines.

  • Sound judgment, assertiveness, and accountability, combined with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Strong ownership mentality with a proactive, results-driven, and hands-on approach.

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-performance work environment.

  • Excellent commercial, communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving capability with a data-driven and analytical approach.
