Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the coordinated delivery of all company projects, ensuring execution is completed within approved timelines, allocated budgets, and defined organizational objectives.
This role covers comprehensive project planning, performance monitoring, resource and vendor coordination, risk management, and structured reporting across multiple operational sites. The Project Manager supports management decision-making while contributing to continuous improvement in project governance and delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution

Oversee the full project lifecycle across the company’s portfolio, from initiation through completion.

Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and budget parameters.

Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and supporting documentation.

Apply structured governance frameworks, monitor milestones, and conduct post-project evaluations.
Operational Coordination and Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the primary coordination point for project teams, site managers, and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with Operations, Finance, Procurement, HSE, and IT teams to ensure alignment.

Manage shared resources, timelines, and interdependencies across multiple concurrent projects.

Support effective communication, team coordination, and operational readiness for change.
Vendor and Contractor Management

Identify, assess, and manage contractors, vendors, and external consultants.

Negotiate contractual terms, oversee performance, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Conduct site visits to confirm project progress, safety compliance, and quality of deliverables.
Cost, Budget, and Risk Management

Develop and control project budgets, monitoring expenditures against approved plans.

Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation measures and escalating concerns where required.

Maintain financial accountability and promote cost efficiency across all projects.
Quality, Compliance, and Reporting

Ensure all projects comply with company policies, regulatory obligations, and HSE standards.

Carry out inspections and formal project close-outs to confirm completion and quality requirements.

Prepare consolidated reports, dashboards, and analytical updates for senior management and steering committees.
Process Improvement and Lessons Learned

Identify opportunities to strengthen project management processes, coordination, and reporting.

Capture lessons learned from completed projects and apply insights to future initiatives.

Support continuous improvement in project governance, controls, and delivery effectiveness.
Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing multiple projects, preferably within mining, construction, or industrial environments.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, contractors, and parallel projects.

Proven experience in project risk management, change management, and budget control.

Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Power BI, or equivalent systems.

Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) is highly desirable and regarded as an asset.
