Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing design and construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards, while meeting client expectations and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of design and construction projects, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and closeout.

Monitor project progress, implement adjustments where required, and ensure timely project completion.

Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Coordinate with design teams, operations, and contractors to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.

Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular progress updates.

Select, manage, and supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance.

Resolve construction-related issues, challenges, conflicts, and disputes as they arise.

Lead and supervise cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to promote collaboration and effective communication.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, building codes, safety standards, and company policies.

Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports.

Provide regular status updates and monthly project reports to management.

Support the implementation of standardized procedures and best practices to improve project workflows.

Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in project management practices.

Train, mentor, and supervise team members in line with standard operating procedures.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 2–8 years’ proven experience in a similar role within the architectural or construction industry.

Professional certifications such as PMP, COREN, HSE Certification, or equivalent are preferred.

Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Strong project management competencies, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Asana, or Trello.

Familiarity with Construction Management Systems (CMS).

Sound knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
-
Experience working with cross-functional teams is an advantage.

Salary
₦150,000 – ₦250,000 per month
