Position overview

The Mobile App Development Assistant will support the mobile app developer in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quick Collect mobile application.
This role requires a technically skilled and detail-focused professional who can collaborate effectively on development tasks, testing activities, and troubleshooting processes.
The position is well-suited for a mobile development professional seeking hands-on experience, close mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute directly to a growing fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support the mobile app developer in designing, coding, and testing mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms

• Collaborate on feature enhancements, bug resolution, and overall app optimization

• Participate in testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain high application performance and quality

• Assist with app documentation, including release notes and version updates

• Support integration with third-party APIs, fintech services, and backend systems

• Monitor application performance and recommend improvement opportunities

• Assist in deploying application updates to app stores and internal testing environments

• Stay informed on emerging mobile development tools, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mobile app development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter)

• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, APIs, and the software development lifecycle

• Experience with testing frameworks, debugging processes, and performance optimization

• Ability to read and write code using relevant languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, or JavaScript

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork

• Familiarity with version control and deployment tools, including Git and CI/CD pipelines

Compensation & benefits

• Monthly starting salary: ₦200,000

• Probationary period: 2 months, with performance-based salary review

• Salary increment eligibility after 2 months of strong performance

• Medical benefit: ₦50,000 annually

• Annual Christmas bonus: ₦100,000
