Job Description

The IT Server Operations Analyst will join the Information Technology team and play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of the organization’s server infrastructure.

This role focuses on maintaining optimal system operations through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and collaboration with other IT functions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct daily monitoring and routine maintenance of server systems

• Manage server infrastructure, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Ensure high system availability and reliability through regular inspections and timely upgrades

• Collaborate with internal IT teams to diagnose and resolve server-related issues

• Implement, monitor, and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes

• Enforce system security by applying and monitoring appropriate access controls

• Develop and maintain accurate system and configuration documentation

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in server operations or systems administration

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies

• Experience in server monitoring and performance optimization

• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Effective communication and technical documentation skills
