Role Purpose
The Domestic Support Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and the efficient daily operation of the household or assigned facility. This role supports residents, guests, and management by upholding high hygiene standards, assisting with routine errands, and contributing to a safe, comfortable, and well-managed environment.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine and deep cleaning of designated areas, including living spaces, kitchens, restrooms, rooms, and common areas

Manage laundry activities, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing, linens, and fabrics
-
Maintain proper organization of household items, cleaning supplies, pantry stock, and personal belongings as directed
-
Assist with meal preparation when required, serve meals, and ensure proper cleaning of kitchen and dining areas while observing hygienic food-handling practices
-
Support errands such as shopping, receiving deliveries, collecting supplies, and handling basic external tasks
-
Operate household cleaning equipment safely and report faults or maintenance requirements promptly

Welcome and attend to guests, support household activities, and ensure guest areas remain neat and presentable

Adhere to safety and hygiene standards, including proper waste disposal and maintenance of a safe living environment

Provide basic pet care when applicable, including feeding, light grooming support, and cleaning of pet areas

Perform additional duties assigned by the household manager to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification
-
Prior experience in housekeeping, domestic support, or facility care is preferred
-
Training in cleaning methods, food handling, or home care is an added advantage
