Job Summary

The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing accurate HVAC, VRF, and plumbing system designs, including engineering calculations and cost inputs. The role requires close collaboration with architects, consultants, and equipment vendors to ensure technically sound, compliant, and well-coordinated design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC, VRF, and plumbing system designs in line with technical and regulatory requirements.

• Independently perform engineering calculations and develop complete design documentation.

• Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, and equipment suppliers throughout the design process.

• Produce accurate drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.

• Support estimation activities, including BOQ preparation and tender documentation, where required.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar engineering design role.

• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, VRF, and plumbing system design.

• Strong ability to independently execute engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with additional design software is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong technical and analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to support coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple design assignments and meet project deadlines.
