Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, preparing periodic financial statements, managing budgets and reconciliations, and ensuring full compliance with applicable accounting standards and Nigerian financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and supporting audit documentation

• Maintain accurate accounting records, including the general ledger and fixed assets register

• Carry out weekly bank reconciliations and oversee accounts payable and receivable

• Manage supplier payments and staff-related financial disbursements

• Support budgeting activities, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis

• Assist with tax computations, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance

• Liaise with banks and other external financial stakeholders as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience

• Working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws is an added advantage

• ICAN certification is an added advantage

Salary

N170,000 monthly
